I am outraged.
Chaps
Earlier in the year I purchased a 1981 Freccione Explorer 2 and naturally had it serviced by my AD. I have been wearing it for the last two weeks and decided to retime it against the GMT computer in order to check it's accuracy. Much to my chagrin it has gained 1 second over two weeks. Time to give the AD a jolly good rollicking over shoddy workmanship methinks. Regards Mick |

Mick, please be fair... Was it a FULL - ONE whole second? Are you absolutely sure? If it was, I can understand your anger... But I suggest doing the test again, and seeing if possibly, it wasn't REALLY .6 or maybe even .5 seconds off. That would still be on the fence of acceptability but a lot better then a complete second.....

It's hard to get too excited over this after all it could easily be a faulty computer. I think a decent atomic clock is needed to have any confidence prior to costing someone their job.
