To buy or not to buy..

Just popped out for a bit of Christmas sale shopping and happened across this beauty in a renowned UK jewellery store.

Outer card box is a bit shabby, but the watch is fine and has been recently serviced by Rolex and still has the stickers on. No date on the papers though.

Asking £4,250 sterling, but easily managed a £250 discount to £4K, which is roughly $6,000 USD.

It looks great and is immaculate, worth the £4k or should I go in a bit harder on the price?

Any advice greatly received!

Reputable jeweller, recent Rolex service, looks to be in very nice condition, price seems pretty fair...in my opinion...BUY! But only if you like and want it of course.

6,000 usd is not bad and it's the newer model with lume and looks stunning.

What is the serial of the watch as oyster bracelet seems to have a bit of wear.

If your want a Pepsi GMT, then buy it. I think it is a decent cost.

Thanks for your collective thoughts.

Going in tomorrow to see if I can negotiate any further.

As one contributor has mentioned there is a bit of stretch in the bracelet, but tbh I quite like a bit of movement in the bracelet.

Definitely liking the slight vintage Pepsi, so fingers crossed for a new addition tomorrow!

Seems like a great price compared to other's asking price. The II is my preference in the Pepsi market.

Looking at the photo, the upper crown guard looks maybe a bit small/overpolished. Any more pics?

It's a beauty, although I do agree with Peter and Adam that there are a couple of small items you may be able to use as bargaining chips if you want the watch.

Loose bracelet which is a big deal monetarily, no papers LOL, obvious nicks that weren't completely polished out, clearly it has been worn daily. Use these as negotiating points to shave off another couple of hundred pounds. The worst they can say is no and then you can still buy it for the 4k then.

Most folks don't negotiate hard enough out of fear of being thought too "pushy." One can bargain hard without being rude, in fact it is more effective.
