Icon20 Should i send my rolex for servicing?

Hi There,

I bought my submariner last week 21st December and Just last 26 dec Saturday, i dropped it on laminated flooring from a table height. Should i bring it to rolex service centre for servicing? Will there be a problem if i dont get it checked for Accuracy?

Best Regards,
Vik

How is it running?

I have dropped watches a few times but they run OK afterwards.

Check it yourself for accuracy give it a full manual wind 40 full turns clockwise only. Then sync your watch with say a quartz watch there wear your watch as normal for 8 hours plus a day.Check time once only with same setting source write down loss or gain do this for 5 days. If running to COSC spec a AVERAGE of between -4 to +6 seconds your watch is fine Rolex has a very efficient shock system. And in your other post the LEC is very difficult to spot with the naked eye but if bought from a reliable source it will be there, but not worth the bother straining your eyes to find it.

Icon14 Looks normal

To me the watch is running fine and looks normal. Just asking whether I should be worried form dripping accidentally from a standard table height?

Let me know if I should go to the service center still? It's not a serious issue right?

Also another thing is it normal for the Rolex 116613LB not to have the LEC at the no.6?

Regards,
Vik

Check the timing over a couple of days. I don't think you'll have to worry at all. You can damn near drive a truck over a Rolex and not worry about it!

I would just keep an eye on the watch for a couple of weeks. To see if its running right. If its fine. Then dont do anything and enjoy the watch.

Alright will give a couple of days. Till now its working fine as new.

Thanks guys for the assurance with regards to the drop. I would like to know how should i go about understanding the accuracy of rolex timing?

Yes, i bought it from authorised dealer called THE HOUR GLASS in SINGAPORE for $16,624SGD. Thats why i was confused, how come my rolex blue sub TT 116613LB didn't have the LEC at the no.6

I've seen the some youtube videos of owner posting their Rolex 116613LB none had the LEC.

What should we conclude? is it gotta do with ROLEX production side?

Thanks,
Vik

NO. Your watch was launched before you ever got your hands on it. ;)

Please go here, and scroll to 16 seconds in. Your watch is fine.

Hey Thanks man for the assurance, thats an awesome video to feel pretty convinced that its fine, but i'm still curious why my watch doesn't have the LEC at no.6.

My watch full reference no. is : M116613LB-0005

does the M refers to M Series?

Thanks,
Vik
