Yes I feel there should be no reason why that or any other watch bezel i.e. Fortis, Oris, Omega etc can not be. But honestly if your taking it to get it fixed just let them do it. Unless you want to give it a try, not like it will matter because of the upcoming repairs

Please let me know if this work for you. I have the same problem with my Tag chrono and had the same issue on an older one. My Jeweler told me that Tag will charge at least $350 to fix it and I just live with it. Apparently there is a small spring or something like that underneath. The jeweler has a in-house watch maker and he wouldn't touch it. I find it interesting that I had 2 Tag's with the same problem and heard from that this is a common problem with the bezel. Pretty sad quality.

That truly is a shame, hope both of you can find some solution for this as soon as possible. To properly put the bezel back takes some obvious skill. Look around and see what you can decide on, either a better rate or to just consider another watch.

I'd be suprised if it would be that much if you send it direct to the TAG Service Center in NJ. I've just had an old Formula 1 Chrono serviced with a new bezel and bracelet for $450 all in.

You'll need to send it to them for an estimate but they did a great job on mine.

I have an old Tag that's on the injured reserve list too. Sadly, it's not worth what the repair costs would be. I'm thinking of possibly sending it to IWW as I think they might be able to service it for less money.

IWW is a certified partner of Mk II watches, they recommend them for installing Mk II parts. I also know that IWW is used by the Panerai community for bead blasting and DLC coating.
