Jordan Spieth is back to the Polar

Watched his press conference after winning today and noticed he is once again sporting the Polar. Heck of a win for him and a great start to his 2016 season. Kid is incredibly talented and his attitude is second to none. Very humble. Nice to see that as opposed to the arrogance some of them display. Congrats Jordan!

He must love the white face Rolex's, I've seen him wear the Polar and he was also on the cover of "D Magazine" last year wearing a white dial SS Daytona.

Spieth and the polar - both nicely understated.

I'm a fan of both. I have a polar Explorer II and appreciate Spieth's humility and class.

Spieth is a class act. I too am a fan of both (Spieth and the Exp II). Refreshing change to see a performer of his level with such humility. He is an amazing golfer, just has zero weaknesses. I think he is going to rewrite the record books over the next fews years. Seems every win he breaks a record.

Does he wear the 16570 or 216570??? The pics I saw looked like the old model but it's hard to tell.

Definitely 216570...no way Rolex is letting its ambassadors wear models they are not producing anymore.

I have seen him wear 216570, 116520 and the 116719BLRO....nice line up!

Spieth will take all of the records as long as he doesn't let the fame get to him (which I really don't think he will). From what I have watched and read, he comes from a great family who still put education and school first BEFORE golf, even though they knew the talent he had. Its great that he is working an Explorer.

What a humble and upstanding individual.

He's a great ambassador for the Rolex brand. He was on the cover of Golf Digest last summer sporting his white dial Daytona.

Look closely at the GMT hand. While the color is not capured the arrow is clearly the 216570.

I may stand corrected......although those dial plots and hands still look maxi to me. Clearly the GMT arm looks red but the pointer looks rather large as does the 24 engravings on bezel.
Maybe he has both. I know I have seen him wear the 216570 often with the orange GMT hand, after all he is a Texas Longhorn guy.

Would he wear that while playing? I was under the impression that wearing an automatic while playing high impact sports (in terms of the wrist) was a bad idea?

That picture is a 216570. The giveaway is where the triangle on the gmt hand meets the 6 oclock lume plot. On the 216570 it starts short of the lume. On the 16570 it starts halfway down it.

The watch in the picture has a maxi minute hand and a 24-hour hand that comes to a point before the hour markers. It's definitely a 216570.

You haven't been corrected. You're right, they're mistaken.
