New Rob Montana Strap!!!!

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW!!!!

I just got my strap from Rob Montana (Rob Farrington, aka The StrapSmith) and it is the bomb. I wanted a vintage leather watch that was very simple to go with my simple dialed RWC 1938a that I have posted here before. But I asked for some character. Well....

the character in this thing is truly amazing!

I love this old piece of leather. Worth every penny. I was kind of wishing I could get a smaller california dial than this one (it is 45mm) but now that I have this piece of leather on it, it is so damn sexy!!!!!!!

Anyway, hope you like the pics of the strap.

The money shot!!!!

The somehow appropriate stain!!!

Let's twist it around for a 360 view!!!!
Why do I want my leather nicked, but not my watch case?!

The permanent indentation at the bottom!

Loving the scar!!!

He even gave me an extra keeper so I can do two or one! What a gentleman.

Now, I need another watch so I can get more straps!

I was thinking of a polar expy or a coke gmt ii, but now...

That is quite the strap. Reminds me of the company I posted the other day. He has quite the bands:

Take a look at these if you have not seen them before.

Thanks, it is starting to break in after 2 days of wear. Loving it. Thanks for the comment.

Wow. He can definitely work with leather. I would have to see what they would look like on a watch first. Those are pretty far out.
