Audemar Skeleton
http://www.ebay.com/itm/151898371682...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
Hello, All, Very new to the watch collecting/appreciation hobby I do have a nice Rolex two tone blue face sub and love it. Starting to appreciate the AP brand Obviously like several of the RO variations What are AP fans thoughts on the skeleton above? Looking for opinions and pointers positive and negative. I think they are sharp but am having a hard time getting specific model #s data etc and have learned experienced folks can point out a lot of things that go right by me. I'm more of a guitar guy and can navigate that world pretty well. Not so much with watches yet. Thanks in advance for any input |

I am not familiar with it, it is 33mm though. It may be too small for you?

I'm in RI so I could check it out for size
I'm average 5'7 180 Checked out some APs in Boca, the finish was much more impressive in person Love the skeletons but still considering one of the RO models GB Man, what don't you care for aesthetically? Don't want to buy something that after I own it I realized what I missed Thanks for the welcome To all posters and potential posters Don't be shy, I'm not sensitive |

I should mention I have no experience with such watches and own mostly modern sport pieces. So take my advice with a grain of salt ![]() |

+1 pass, to be honest for me it looks either like a fake, or like a frankenwatch, it's a watch where they took the movement of a pocket watch and turned it into a wristwatch, and one big advice, if you're not an expert stay away from Fleebay, there are too many scams and ripoffs there on watches, a good place for "beginners" is chrono24, but in any case always search on the web for the reputation of the seller, wether it be a professional with a shop or a private seller, google for example "DavidSW scams, problems, review", and you should have some info, plus there is a "who's who section on this forum, by the way David SW is a very renowned grey dealer with an impeccable reputation, never dealt with him as I am in Europe but in the US he's probably one of the best grey dealers on the market, like we say buy the seller not the watch.
You want a AP skeleton, you take one of the following, not that thing from Fleebay or any similar to it |
