trading HULK Sub for DateJust

I recently sold my hobby and was able to purchase this 116610LV "HULK" Submariner over Christmas. However, though I love the color green, I really enjoy the look of the TT Datejust 116133. Would I be making a mistake to trade in my green Submariner for the TT DateJust? The Datejust is the one on the far right with the Jubilee bracelet.

Maybe trade it for two tone ceramic Submariner may be a good option for you.

Depends on how much a lost you will take on the green sub and how much you will pay on the TT.

I personally see the TT was a dressy watch. So if you prefer that for your profession than go for it!

I am really wanting it for everyday and am thinking the jubilee may be too dressy.

I would do it in a heartbeat, I love the modern 116233. One of my favourite watches.

If it sings to you, go for it!

I'll be the minority here, I say yes. I too had the Hulk and got tired of it pretty quick. It's a beauty but I just didn't like it with a lot of outfits. Traded it after 6 months.

I think it depends on what else you have in rotation. I see DJ as more of a dressier piece, so I'm sure you'd want a 'sporty' SS in your collection.

All I can say is, green isn't for everyone. If it doesn't "sing" to you anymore then yeah, trade away.

Personally I wouldn't since I like Hulk more.

I would never trade a Sub for a Datejust, but I am a Sublover after all! And love my Hulk.

Hulk Smash!!!

If you feel you are more Bruce Banner then the Hulk then definitely go with it. YOU have to wear it so make sure YOU are happy.

Personal taste. Can't really comment on whether you should or shouldn't do the trade.

Sleep on it a few more nights and see. If the sub really stops singing to you, then move on. If you have regret, you can always buy it again later.

I agree with this suggestion, but this doesn't answer the question you asked.

Don't rush it, but if that's where you end up, why not? It's your wrist.
