Hmmmm...interesting..
I don't have a GMT IIc, But I do have the Daytona with the easy link.. I notice there is a square tab on the J hook link that snaps around the spring bar retainer.. Is this in good shape, and is it snapped in place firmly.. ?? As I look at the mechanics of the thing, and the clamshell of the clasp that rests above it when worn, I'm baffled how it could just come loose... ![]()

Are you snapping it firmly into place?

Make sure you have it pressed all of the way in. I've had my SS GMT IIc for a few months now and mine has a very firm "click" whenever I push it in and never pops out.

My problem is when I put the extension link in to shorten the bracelet,it tends to lengthen out after awhile. I will try again to snap it in.It's a great feature, and I love my GMT-C. M- SN Bill

hi...do you keep the "extender" snapped (locked)? Or extended? I have a relatively small wrist. For some reason, if i take out 2 links, the bracelet is a bit loose. If it take out 3, it is a bit tight (extender is locked in both cases)
What i did is to take out 3 links and unsnap (or extend) the bracelet. It fits perfectly. But is this a problem? Is the extender meant to be (by default) locked and only unlocked when necessary? Any disadvantage of keeping it permanently extedned (until my wrist gets biegger?) THanks guys...Cheers |
