Vintage Rolex Thunderbird
Recently got it recently ..... got obsessed by its beautiful and rare dial .... its a 1625 RG/SS Thunderbird ...
 Original 9K RG jubilee bracelet, but looks a bit too old for me .....   Have a closer look ...  On wirst, not too small for me ....  The shape of the markings of the bezel looks very eye-catching ....  Now get to look even closer, this very early and rare type of dial and hands really attracted me ....  Thanks for watching ....

I love the 'dauphine' hands, it's a stunning vintage. Enjoy it!! By the way, I didn't know that the RG bracelets were 9ct at the time. I'm learning all the time, thanks for sharing

It is a real beauty. Is the Bezel and crown RG as well?
You know, I think the old 2 tone turnographs are really 2 tone versions of the earliest no crown guard Subs. Think about it and how the turnograph and subs were related right from the beginning, and how after the 5508, how the sub series grew crown guards. These turnographs have a great future, I predict. A beauty! Why Rolex discontinued the traditional TOG bezel for just another fluted one is a decision that was probably made by the new DJ dial design staff....you know....the insane group! Check my previous post for perhaps the finest example of this design yet seen.
