Hello, my question is directed to vintage experts.

I think they are identical lengths, but the shank lengths of 1 hand differ.

Only the sweep is different ...
The mounting post on the sweep hand is the only thing that differs between hands on the the 5513 , the 1680 and the 1675.
5513 very short mounting post 1680 medium length mounting post 1675 longest of 'em all mounting post See pic. ( and credit to the original photographer whose name escapes me just now ) Hour and minute hands are completely interchangeable but there are visual differences between earlier and later issue hand sets. Earlier handsets include a flat hour hand, later sets have a curved profile to the hour hand |

Help!
Can any vintage experts identify what the first bottom hand is for?? It's more narrow at the base than the others?
Thanks! |
