Looks good to me. I am not sure that bracelet came with it. I know he says its original so hopefully someone else can chime in.

Based on the paperwork in the ad, bracelet is a 6252 (jubilee two tone), which was an option for the watch.

Watch is real.

I believe that reference came with a jubilee as well as an oyster.

Does the paper work describing the dial appear to be correct? Any idea on what a fair market price for the watch in question would be?
Thanks in advance for all the inputs.

I'm new to the Rolex world, my wife just had her 25 year old date just recently serviced and now I have the bug. Looked at some new ones at the authorize dealer but they are a little above what I can pay. The green submariner is $9050

Welcome! Sounds like you need to do a bit more research and study the market before pulling the trigger. This website can be a great tool. There are trusted sellers on here that can save you big money.

Ultimately the best advice I can give you is buy the seller not the watch. Look at their feedback, references, and who they are... Do they check out? Are they trusted? Lots of positive feedback? Real legitimate people? If all that comes back good then you are good to go. Make sure you buy the piece you want bc its what you want, don't buy a piece bc of the deal.
