GMT BLNR Question follow up

Greetings. A few days ago, I posted a question regarding fliping a Sub C, GMT Coke w/sticks, or Tudor BBB in order to obtain a GMT BLNR. I just wanted to thank everyone who provided their input. As a rolex rookie, your recommendations and perspectives were very valuable. In the end, I placed my Sub C on consignment. For some reason, I found my Sub C Date easier to let go than the Tudor BB. Say What!!! Weird, but true. I also figured if I miss my Sub there's a chance I can double back and pull it off consignment. Eventually when resources permit, I want to turn my Tudor BB into a Sub No Date and down the line acquire a TT Sub Bluesy or Daytona. I still would like to only end up with a three piece rotation. But really guys, does this sickness ever go away?

Anyways, thanks again TRF. You guys are the best! Lastly, I can't say enough great things about David Bui from HNL TIME. This guy is the bomb! I've bought my Sub C, GMT Coke and now BLNR from his company. Great selection, competitive prices, and outstanding customer service. Thanks David for making it happen!
Mahalo!
Jay

Congrats. Alas, the disease is terminal. The best you can hope for is that it goes in remission periodically.

Congrats on the BLNR, nothing wrong with being attached to the Tudor....waches sing to everyone differently. You're right, the sub will always be there so enjoy what you got going on now!

Congrats! Great watch, and that last photo is awesome! I see the setting sun reflected on the watch, and a distant Diamond Head in the background (I think).

Beautiful watch! Congrats to you.

I totally get you on the Tudor btw. I recently implored the help of all willing to help decide which one of my watches hit the chopping block, and despite many suggestions to throw my Tudor BBB on the board, I could not. The best way I can explain it is that because of the price point and bang for your buck, in some ways it's my most valuable watch. Strange I know but I love it. Don't see any reason to ever part with it.

Attachment 715183Chadri I totally concur with you regarding the Black Bay. Everytime I look at the dial I'm content. Something has been holding me back from trading it in. You're also right on the price point and value. Besides, back in January I had ordered the OEM leather bracelet and clasp from B.Bridge. Waiting for it to arrive and give it a go. For now I'm pretty happy with the stainless steel.
Aloha,
Jay

Congrats! Think you've got a great trio now! Glad you held on to the one you prefer....no point letting something go if it's still worn and loved.

Same here. I'd sell my Sub before my BB.
