Colleagues Watch

Was just out and spotted this on a work mates wrist...

He says its gen, however I've never seen a Rolex with a stretchy strap!

I'm sure it's an aftermarket band, have one on a vintage omega that's been passed down to me.
Can't help with the watch.

It's a Rolex precision from the mid 50's and looks legit (the bracelet is probably aftermarket).

Looks legit but has one of those speidel twist-o-flex bracelets that you generally see elderly people wear who have dexterity issues.

Regarding the stretchy strap: it's a very rare, experimental bracelet designed by Rolex. Only 2 prototypes are known to be in existence. The code name Rolex used for this unique concept bracelet was "Speidel."
