The rg yacht-master 116655 has been out for less than a year. I see ones for sale as low as $20k usd at the moment. Where do you see price of this model in a couple years? I'm seeing white gold subs dropping to around 21-22k so should we expect to see carefully worn examples around 15k?

I know no one has a crystal ball but what's your best guess at where this watch will settle. Thanks!

I think it'll be more than a couple years before the pricing hits that mark. I'd say right around the time these 5 year warranties are up you'll start to see a few pieces out of warranty in that range.

Just picked up a NIB 116655 the other day. If you look hard enough they can be had for 18k-ish.

I think it depends on whether they put it on a RG bracelet or not.

That's good to know. I tried on at my ad the other day and was surprised how much I liked it. Very cool peice that flys under the rader for rg

...prices will always level out eventually to what the consumer is prepared to pay....now if they decide to bring out a platinum or WG in 2016/17 that would be the flavour of the month and the RG could soften....

guessing some AD's like to turn and burn. this piece on rubber looks great but worth (to me) around $17k.

No, was on the hunt for a couple months and found a trusted Canadian seller that I felt comfortable with and had the correct size Oysterflex bracelet.
