First time I put an aftermarket part.....

in any of my watches. Of course most of you will disapprove but....
it does look cool..and for US 16, what do you have to lose?

Makes me smile when folk get all high and mighty about aftermarket bracelets.

Then put a Nato strap on their pride and joy.

I used a Chinese Jubilee on my 1675 for a couple of months whilst MY was fixing up the original.

Looking good! I would love to have the real thing but I decided I can live with this rather than shell out 13K.

Here's my 16800 on aftermarket bracelet. No problem as it allows me to wear it securely without spending another €1000 on a new one. I still have the original so what's the problem?

Why? I would bet there are more aftermarket inserts sold every year than genuine. Plus, these inserts are appropriately called aftermarket...not fake!

I don't see it being any different than utilizing aftermarket glass case backs, aftermarket bracelets, aftermarket hands, aftermarket dials or aftermarket crystals.

Now, back on topic. Let's see some more of those "blue bells."

Sorry, mine is aftermarket.

The price of genuine blue inserts are outrageous - besides, there was a good quantity of fake blue inserts made a few years ago that fooled even the self-proclaimed experts.

It's the insert, not the bracelet, that's aftermarket.

The insert does look cool, just can't bring myself to put anything aftermarket on any of my watches. but that's just me.
