FSOT: Jaeger LeCoultre Geophysic True Second
I have a Jaeger LeCoultre Geophysic True Second watch for sale or trade. As seen in the figures
below this watch is in mint condition and complete with all boxes, papers, and AD stamped warranty card 01/11/2016. The JLC leather strap is unworn as I put the watch on a black rubber strap. To paraphrase a review on Hodinkee.com ... The Geophysics True Second features a tightly finished case with satin-finished sides and sturdy wide lugs that are polished brightly. The dial is extremely finely grained, and in a nod to the original Geophysic it is surrounded by a rehaut complete with luminous dots. The Caliber 770 by Jaeger-LeCoultre is a brand new movement, built from the ground up. The movement is a true second caliber, often referred to as a dead beat seconds movement where the second hand moves with discrete jumps therby allowing the wearer to measure time more precisely. I am asking $8250 for this watch which includes shipping in the CONUS. As far as trades go I will consider all offers up/down but of particular interest to me are: EXPLORER II (black dial), BLNR, Vacheron Constantin Overseas, Panerai 392. Please email me at jrbar_on@yahoo.com if you have any questions. Here are some additional technical details about the watch: Reference 8018420 Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 770 Automatic, self-winding Pieces inside: 270 Vibrations per hour : 28800 Jewels : 36 Barrel : 1 Height : 6.57 mm Case Stainless Steel Water-resistance : 5 bar Diameter : 39.6 mm Thickness : 11.7 mm Functions Date - Hour - Minute - True second |
