Incoming! RO 15400 Blue

Genuinely a grail watch for me, just a fantastic piece and I couldn't be happier (although +13 seconds a day isn't awesome!) :)

Awesome but 13secs is unacceptable, I would wear it for 1-6 months and send it in for regulation, is your watch fully wounded? Had this sort of problem with my diver but now I manuallt wind it every 2 days and it keeps good time, it is off by 3-5 sec/day, that's fine with me.
Anyways congrats, never got why some would want to get white or black dial when blue dial is so amazing, huge congrats

Good point, I was assuming the AP boutique I bought it from had fully wound it, but it's possible they hadn't. I'll fully wind it now (40-50 full turns right? I don't have the manual to hand) and see if anything changes.

The watch has settled at +15 seconds per day now by the way, and importantly it is a consistent 15, so once regulated the watch should be very accurate. Even +15 doesn't bother me enough to send the watch off to AP for a month though, I want to wear and enjoy it for much longer first!

In fact I probably won't bother until the first service, in a strange way I enjoy the interaction of setting a watch correctly every few days (although if it was slow rather than fast it might be different, as I don't want to be late for appointments!).

It is very different to my Rolex watches all of which are accurate to between 0 and 3 seconds a day (my Daytona is pretty much dead accurate, gaining only a couple of seconds a week), which is mildly disappointing, but it honestly doesn't bother me very much.

I've created a new thread by the way with a couple of related questions in case you have any further input:

+13? Wow. My silver is fairly spot on. Granted it's a week old but I would definitely question that.
Give it a few months and revisit.
But just the same, Congrats!
