It is just a vicious cycle...

...if I am not obsessing about what watch is next, which I am not at all at this given moment, then it is what straps I can add to the collection. At one point I got down to about 10, not counting the OEM duplicates, but now I am back up to close to 25 with two more due in this week.

Oh well, Andie is happy since she likes the watches in the rotation right now and the straps take longer to add up than the watches.

Here are some of the latest.....
Nylon with leather backing, totally waterproof and totally comfortable!!

black with tan stitch nubuck strap that is softer than hot buttah!

Gotta love the bracelet, even though these are strap watches, MHO.

Superb black croc with white stitch. AWESOME!! All of these are Molina straps (not the bracelet) that I bought from a buddy in Canada, they are really good and priced very well.

Nice straps, D. Great way to put a new twist on a watch. The one with the tan stitching looks especially nice on the Panny

I have a call in to my AD about the FIVER. She will call me tomorrow.
I am thinking about the 005, the 000 or 110.
She needed to check with " the boss" about whether I could leave "one" deposit for whichever of the 3 is the first to arrive. something about "store polciy"

Those straps are undoubtedly very nice, but the bracelet is simply a CRACKER!!

Very nice, D. Tough choice as to which I like best, but I think it comes down to the white stiching croc strap. Unlike JJ, I'm not partial to the bracelet on the Pams, at least on those two.

I'll have to agree with those that state that Panerai is a strap watch.
Love the croc with stiching mate!

When I had my PAM111 I kept buying straps. Had 10 in short order. I liked the watch, but not enough to keep it when the time came to thin the herd.

I hear your Bob, I just have found that I am more comfortable with Pannies than any other brand. I still have my YM, but it is almost always a Panerai on my wrist.

My preference on the straps is the contrasting stitching.
I have changed mine a couple times, but I'm always afraid of scratching the case.
Will get more comfortable with experience.

John, until you get more comfortable, you can put a small piece of scotch tape over the lugs and poke through it with the screwdriver. Some guys have even cut holes in the bezel protector with good results.

I too like contrasting stitch, but on sport straps, I like a matching stitch.

Good advice Daren. Thanks
BTW, I just got off the phone. The deposit is down.
Now I just wait. Apparently this is the end of 2005 production & the 2006 are out in April. So not sure how long my wait will be.

I have a feeling not much will change with Basel this year, so no worries there. I know that the fiscal year for Richemont just ended and the new shipments have already begun, so hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. Congrats big guy, I can't wait to see what arrives on your wrist.

They were very good at the AD. There policy is One deposit on one watch.
But they will call when any of the 000,005 or 112 show up.
I feel like a kid in a car " Are they there yet?"
She said they do have a special edition, white gold one in for a mere $27,000 cdn

I love Tool Time, the last really good family show, MHO.

I am itching for a 112, I will add one of those in the spring sometime I think.

I love the simplicity of the BASE!! Here is my dearly departed.
How can you not love this face?

Somebody has been looking at Pannies.

Yes for the H series, last year and till Basel this year, the 112 and 111 went to the Sammy dial.
