Canceling blnr order, changing to Daytona

As soon as my ad opens I have to make the switch. I've always been a fan of the Daytona but the last lineup was missing something. The new white face is exactly what I'm looking for.

Get the BLNR and flip it for the Daytona when it becomes available to you. Who knows how long that will be

This - BLNR has flattened out on price in my opinion. Might as well have some fun during the wait

Definitely get the BLNR, the Daytona won't be available for a while. Enjoy the BLNR until then!

I wondered if the newly announced SS Daytonas would soften demand for the BLNR. Now I think yes, that price premium may begin to drop. I bet demand for the D-Blue will also abate.
Life may be difficult at the AD because so many buyers will be waiting for products not available until fall.

I don't think demand for BLNR will soften much due to SS Daytona, it is a completely different watch. The average Rolex buyer is probably not wanting to wait 6 months for a watch either.

It will be longer than that--most (even if they think they are '#1' on a fake list) won't see one on their wrist this year (unless ready to pay over).

Excellent call OP, you won't be disappointed. I wonder if BLNR values will drop after this hits the markets? If I had to choose between the two it would be white dialed Daytona every time.

I like the sound of that

I'm looking at the white dial. My AD says he has no information about when the ss will be released. With that being said I will at the least buy and flip or just keep both.

I don't see how this will change the value for any other watch other than another Daytona. I think claiming a drop in value of a BLNR or DSSD is silly. If the price softens for either of those, it will be a coincidence as they will be out that much longer by the time the Daytona hits the shelves this alleviating some of the demand.

Canceled my order for BLNR. Im the second one on the list for the white dial Daytona.
First one on the list is the AD owner :)

Batman

The Batman and Daytona are 2 different watches. Personally I like the looks of the Daytona but not its functionality. Reason why I purchased today a Batman. I do have a chrono/tachy and it is an AP 26470ST Elephant which does the same as the Daytona plus I get the date window. To each their own I guess...

I second or third that notion ...
It should retain much of its value and you'll
be " watching " in style during the wait ...
