Sea Dweller bracelet questions
Does the SD bracelet have thicker links than the Sub. ? If so, how much thicker?
Lastly: What was the last year/serial number the SD made with drilled lugs? Thanks Forum members I am considering getting a SD but lookong for model with drilled lugs and complete kit. John |

The last Submariners they made with drilled lugs were around 2002. I believe K series. |

Last year for the drilled lugs was 2002. The 16600 reference has solid end links but the center links are still hollow. The new ceramic sea dwellers 116600 have solid end links and center links

No, the bracelets are completely interchangeable with only minor cosmetic differences.

Thanks guys Yes SD's
Ok thanks I always though the SeaDweller had thicker links on the Oyster bracelet I realize the watch case maybe thicker due to increased depth rating
SD's .... did have drilled lugs up to a certain year/serial number but I have no idea I suspect about 2002 or 03 is when they went to non drilled lugs. But experienced forum members know that. |

Go further back. A 16660 is still a 4000 but will have an open date wheel and drilled lugs. Also, since it's tritium it's possible to get nice patina.
