Inundated by Tumbleweeds, Albuquerque Brings Out the Snow Plow
This isn't an unusual problem, but it does seem to be worse this year according to some.

It doesn’t snow heavily in the Southwest, but that’s no reason for cities not to keep winter equipment, as demonstrated recently by a snow plow clearing Albuquerque of troublesome tumbleweeds.
