Who will have the honor to be the last BNIB 116520 buyer on TRF

Everyone is talking about the new ceramic SS Daytona, but there are still some SS Daytona 116520 out there...

So who will be the unofficial last buyer of a brand new beloved 116520?

Anyone, anyone?

I wonder how many people were getting a SS Daytona and have now put the brakes on it to wait for the ceramic model??

Pretty sure it won't be me. One Daytona is enough for me. Although, you just never know!

I'll have to see it in person.

It looks sort of "plasticky" in photos.

The new Daytona may increase the sales of it's predecessor. Typically sales increase.

I'm actually accelerating to pick up the current version, before they get hard to find/expensive BNIB.

I never even considered the stainless steel Daytona in the past. Now I am planning on grabbing the ceramic Daytona (in place of an AP Diver) after my next purchase.

Didn't zenith Daytona go up in value after it is discontinued? Albeit not immediately.

Completely different dynamic at play there. Not a good analogy.

I agree. The Zenith model sold used for almost $10,000 when the MSRP was around $5,000. If you weren't into watches then, it's hard to believe what the market was like. The current model sells at a pretty big discount the second a name is added to the warranty.
