new member with a question

Hi guys,

I am new here .. i got few rolexes and looking for my 1st AP.

I saw this on chrono24, is this model popular ? 1st time I see it.

http://www.chrono24.ae/audemarspigue...-id4115488.htm

Isn't the price kinda low for a annual calender ?

I'm unfamiliar with this particular model, but some google-fu shows that it was made for a fairly short time, starting in the 1990's. That particular watch is in good condition, but comes without the bracelet that they originally came on. Given it's age and the absence of bracelet, box, and papers the price seems reasonable to me on first glance. (other examples for sale online with box and papers on a bracelet seem to be closer to $12k USD)

No not a popular model and had a short run, don't remember seeing one here for a while. Any other APs you like?

That's the triple date, but with the older style case. Not sure of that ref # is correct, as it's the same as the newer cased model on bracelet. I do like the model on bracelet.

That is the 25808 reference which has strap and old style lug design. Comes in some wacky colours too!

Not a popular model. Never seen one in person and barley see them for sale at all.

First time I see it but kinda līke it, would look nice on a brown or black rubber strap, if you are the kind to keep'your watches go for it, an annual calendar at that price and in that condition is nice, but if you may flip it will be hard to sell...

thanks guys. I actually love all APs RO & ROO but I need something simple since APs with complications are a little steep for my wallet.

What do you guys suggest for a starter AP ?

My wrist is 6.5 so anything above 42 would look ridiculous ...
