Have you ever bought the same watch over again? And INCOMING

After selling my 16200 white with Romans 3 weeks ago, I have another incoming.

This will be my 4th 16200 white with romans! Somebody kick me if I sell this one. I sell one, then buy something I've never had before (exp 1, exp 2, sub,) and a week or two later I relize I liked my datejust with Roman's better and start looking for another.

Anyone else every owned same model more than once?

Yes....

Ive Regretted selling and then ended up replacing the same references soon after

114060 had 2 want a third now pretty bad

Milgauss gv let 2 go now but I'm OK with that

Exp2 sold the black - now I want the polar

Dj2 sold the silver - now I want the blue stick

At least I'm learning - eventually I'll get it all the way I like it

Yep, I owned a Polar 216570 and sold it last year. Picked up a Black 216570 last week.

Bought and sold Subs of diff flavors over the last 5 years. Ended up buying a ND last year and plan on holding on to it.

Diff reasons each time, needed the cash, funding another piece...the usual nonsense. But I have enjoyed the journey and always come back to Rolex.

There's something about white gold Roman's and the way the catch light, pics really don't ever come close to doing them justice.

Yes, I sold my 16613 and got a 116710 thinking I was a one watch guy and regretted it almost immediately. I just got a 116613 and am now happy again!

I owned a two-tone DJ 3 separate times, finally I've smartened up and the current one is a keeper.

Yes! My entire current collection are watches I have owned previously except my recent Explorer. I kind of have a rule if I have had them and replace them they are keepers but I like the idea of just adding to the collection as the budget allows. A 16613 or 116613 is the last one I got rid of that I wish to have back.

So many, many times: Submariners, Speedmasters, etc. Would have been so much cheaper to have kept what I enjoyed the first time round.

I just try to keep in mind that - even after the honeymoon phase is over - there was a reason that I really wanted this watch. Of course it always dawns on me 3 weeks after selling it.

Cheers,

Ben

I have had 2 16570 ex II polars. I hope I don't buy another. I should have never sold my first one as it was my first Rolex. I think that is why I purchased another but, of course, a replacement is never the same as your first Rolex.

DJII, SubC, PAM 111, 372, 005 .... Have had all of these at least twice. At least they were close to break even, so no real $$ lost.

I've owned two Air Kings, same dial. I still have one. I've owned 2 GMiiCs and sold them both. I regret it and will most likely add it again and not sell. Live and learn...

I have an opinion on the matter for sure - for my wrist I like the Sub case better - it's flatter on my wrist. Love the matte dial on the SD - that's what took me back a second time and yet came to the same conclusion. Don't care about the HE valve - I'm a diver and I dive with my watches but don't need that. In the end it was all about the personal fit for me. What are you leaning towards? - It's becoming less of a price issue as the SD had been out for a bit now.

On my second OP 116000. Sold the first one to buy my Sub C and realized I missed it. Went from black and orange to black concentric.

Well, I've owned the LVc but it got too green in the end. Loved it otherwise. Flipped that one for the sd4, which certainly fits well... But it's a bit heavy/thick and I think I'd prefer a no date watch for weekends as a grab and go...
