Sitting at the dealership waiting for service.

Look down at my watch and for some reason decide it needs to be synced. Open time.is on my phone, take my watch off my wrist and begin to set it.

Guy next to me asks me what I'm doing when he seeing me comparing the phone display to my watch.

Explain it to him and he is genuinely dumbfounded. He says that I'm looking at my phone which has the time while while setting the time on my wrist.

He wasn't wrong, but I couldn't really explain it to him.

We WIS do things that other (so-called normal) people wouldn't do - like look at our phone to set the time on our watch. I wouldn't let it bother me.

It's getting to the point where people question why one wears a watch at all in this computerized/cell phone age

. The gap continues to widen. At least I know which side I fall on.
