Wrist size question

I have 8.1" wrist size and was wondering whether standard Rolex bracelet will be sufficient. Or I will have to ask for additional links to be added. Sorry for such question but I am going to buy my first Rolex after one month when I travel abroad (there is no AD in place where I currently live) and I am trying to gather all possible information in advance.

Currently I am looking at TT DJ and TT DJII and wondering whether DJ is not too small for my wrist. It would be nice to see 8" wrist size shots with DJ and DJII in order to compare how they fit to the wrist.

I have 8 inch wrist and my new dj didn't come with any additional links. It does get tight sometimes. I have all 8 removable links attached.

Is it possible to get these links in AD? Or they should be ordered separately? I want to go to AD, buy watch and have links installed the same day. Also, any ideas what is price for SS/YG bracelet links?

If in stock it shouldn't be a problem.

I have 8" wrists also. The only watches I've owned that fit out of the box are Submariners with a Glidelock clasp. All others I've needed an extra link installed. An AD should have them in stock.

I think you should try on both DJ's, but the DJ II will probably be your best bet, as far as size. The 36mm will look small on your wrists IMHO. Hope to see an incoming soon! :)

You should be fine with standard strap.

I have a 7-7/8" wrist. A 93250 on a 16610 with ALL the links fits. But the clasp adjustment is on the very last hole. I bought an extra link to be able to slide the adjustment in a couple holes as it makes it easier to pull out the diver's extension.

The current Super Jubilee fits with all the links but I think I'm going to have to buy an extra link now that it's getting warmer (new watch bought this past winter).

Yes, they should have the links available.

I agree and I think they should be free if needed to fit. They won't give you extras but the bracelet should fit comfortably when you leave the store.

I do not know one that will. I have an 8.25" wrist and typically add two links to whatever I am going to buy. I wish what Rich said were so. I mean some of us need one or two more, some need one or two fewer. It was especially painful when my wife bought me a 16628 for my 50th. I was "lucky" to have found two ADs who had a take off link in stock at "only" $475 a piece.
