my first rolex

Been a watch collector for many years, never thought to get a rolex, other than the daytona ive been obsessing about for years. Never liked rolex because of the stigma it carried with it. Gave up trying to find one a few years ago because it was always hopeless. Every authorized dealer would giggle a little and say the same thing. My friend bought himself a gmt master II, the new green hands one, and i asked him to ask the store he went to and check to see if they had a daytona, and surprisingly they did. Claimed it was sold, to the owner, but would sell to me at retail plus tax if i came the next day and pay cash. No wait list, no "relationship" i had to build up. Was a good birthday gift for myself, took twenty two years to get the watch of my dream. now what.. So this is what i got! finally! sorry pictures arent that clear, took it with an iphone

22 years?!? I think you might hold the record for the longest wait for a SS Daytona!
