What do you guys think about the Heritage Montblanc Collection?

It is about time for a new snake pen from MB!

I like them, but hate touching metal when I write. But this one may be an exception!

Opinions???

If you're talking about the Rouge et Noir model, I just got the special edition. it's thin, but the weight is ok.
However, it's not piston filler as one would expect it's like the 149 where the barrel inner walls hold ink. This one has a piston converter inside to hold ink.
A bit disappointed to be honest.

The nib is springy about the same as the 1912.

I was going to get one based on the pictures but when I went to my local dealer and tried it out it was way too small. Almost a mini pen. I have several Mont Blancs and this is not what I am looking for.

Agree. I carry a Legrand and a JFK rollerball and this was much too small for me. Cool looking though, even though I hate snakes.

I have not seen this pen in the flesh as of yet…but if it's on the smaller side…then I know I will like it!!!

Take care…..Leo

In general these pens are pieces of art. I love the collection, but it is not something that I'd use on a daily basis. Plus, I am a minimalist by nature so things that I don't use don't stay at home for too long. That is why every time I want to get one of these beauties, I take a pass :-)
