Easylink on BLNR
Hey guys, need some advice on this. I am caught in dilemma right now. I recently acquired the rolex BLNR and faced some issues sizing the bracelet.
+1 link and tightest on the micro adjustment, I feel that the bracelet is still kind of loose. -1 Link and last hole on the micro adjustment and the bracelet feels tight. With the easylink opened, I feel perfect. My question is: Is it fine to wear the watch with the easy link opened? I looks kind of insecure to me with one screw supporting the entire bracelet on the clasp. I tend to wear my watch everyday and handles everything with it. |

I looks like the bracelet is held by the same spring bar in both configurations (open or close easy link)

i have a similar problem. was thinking of removing 1 link and buying a half link but they said they don't make half links for GMT. may have to buy the submariner half link instead.
it's silly that they don't make them for GMT and they do make them for the sub since the sub can be easily adjusted with the glidelock. |

I have the easylink opened on both my GMTiiC and Milgauss. This is over summer. And it gives me the option to tighten my bracelet over winter, when my wrist size is a little smaller in the cold. No issues so far after five years.

Kwekadoo, I have mine on the last hole with the Easylink opened- perfect fit though I am thinking of +1 link, micro adjustment all the way in, and close the Easylink. It will be loose, but I can just add some sort of padding or sticker on the caseback to compensate for its looseness. Though everyone tells me, securewise, it's the same as on the last hole with the Easylink open, which is my current setting and so far so good. |

You can wear it no problem with the easy-link in the open position.
If that gives you the perfect fit then go ahead and wear it that way.

How many links do you have on the 6 side and how many do you have on the 12 side? I found on most my watches having less links on the 6 side solves this. My 116710 and Tudor BB both have 4 links on 6 and 6 links on 12. This solved the issue for me.

If it feels perfect, wear it that way. That's the only way I could get my Daytona to fit perfectly, so I've been wearing it with the easy link open for about two years now. No problem.

Had the easylink open for over a year and a half with no problems or issues then I decided to add a link this summer so that I could use the easylink as it was made for. Don't know how I survived without it.
