My kid and my watches..
I haven't posted for quite awhile after bringing home my son. Saying it's been busy is an understatement! Heck, I haven't even been on the forums very much, just very random visits 1x a month now. (I did put my name down for a Ceramic Daytona! I'm sure it will get here by the time my kid graduates high school or graduate school!) For those of you that don't remember or have joined the forum recently, here are some post of my kid/watches together:
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=405727 http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=408814 http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=420438 Anyhow, here's a quick picture of my son and my batman. I think he's taken a liking to watches as he always grabs mine! What's interesting is that when we're changing him to put him down for the night he always points to my watches on the nightstand. He wants to put them on. I'm trying to capture video of him putting it on, but it's hard since I'm also afraid he'll chuck it! (for some reason, 16-month boys like to throw EVERYTHING!) Thus far no luck with the video, but at the same time he hasn't tried to throw any of my watches either! |

LOL very cool! I just recently found out that I'm going to be a dad. I'm hoping my kid likes watches too. I was going to get the BLNR, but am going toget an Explorer instead and use the balance for baby needs.

Congrats! If it's your first, prepare for a life change! Worth it though!
We'll see if he really likes watches or it's just something to play with for the time being. This current generation already can't drive stickshift and I'm told more and more don't even have driver's licenses. So we'll see if my kid will even drive or want to wear a watch! |

My 4yr old daughter said to me today: "I like your watch". I hugged and kissed her. At least she understands me.

Very nice! Start him young...my wife has soured my kids already. When I show them a pic of one I am considering, they immediately say "NO!"
