Hi from Orlando

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I'm a lifelong watch enthusiast and, having churned through a number of Omega and IWC pieces over the last ten years (presently daily wearing an IWC UTC Classic), am currently considering acquiring my first Rolex.

I'm leaning strongly toward the new GMT 116719 BLRO (Pepsi) in WG. I went down to the local AD a couple of evenings ago to try it on along with the steel Batman GMT. While I'm not usually a WG guy, I really liked the heft of the watch. After handling the Pepsi, the Batman felt noticeably less substantial. At this point, I've pretty much talked myself into the WG Pepsi, though all input on that score is entirely welcome.

Anyway, hello! :-)

Best regards,
Ken

Welcome the BLRO is a popular watch here. Get it tomorrow and lost an incoming pic for us! DavidSW is based in Orlando and worth a check. See his website. He is highly regarded as a trustee seller here

Thanks for the welcomes, guys! Glad to be here.

I'll be lurking for a bit while I read through the site and get my bearings; I'll look forward to participating more once I acquire the watch.
