Early birthday...

UPS man came yesterday. My birthday isn't for another 11 days, but the GF let me keep it since I immediately figured out what it was.

Thanks! I've been irritatingly tidy since I was 18 (which interestingly corresponds to my plebe year at West Point)

Lee: you've got twenty or so watches...shouldn't you already have a display box? Or a display trunk?

When do you leave again?? Man, I've got to get down there soon. Played golf with a guy yesterday who is new to our group. At the end of the round he mentioned he was from Savannah, and we determined he was two years behind me at the same school.
I may wait till fall and let it cool off a little. Going down to the gulf for the offshore races this month. I will definitely be seeing you guys soon though.

Well, when you do come down bring your sticks. I just ordered a new set of Mizuno irons, and I'll have my long game worked out by then as well (thinking new 3-wood/hybrid combo; waiting to see what Titleist releases next month). My fall plans consist of college football (saturdays) and golf on Hilton Head (sundays).

Will do. They're like an AMEX card. I don't leave home without them. A little Hilton Head golf sounds great.
