Help –on the colour of a Rolex

I was browsing a vintage watch site and came across a vintage Datejust 1603 from 1973 with a taupe sigma dial. My problem is that I don't really know the color of the dial even though it's said to be "Taupe".

When browsing online, some of the same Rolexes seemed light greyish and others an orange-brown color.
