Just imagine how influential this would have been if Rolex had made more than a few of these Zerographs (in the '30s, by the way).

If anyone KNOWS anyone who owns one of these watches I would pay to have any top watchmaker in the world disassemble it for service and make duplicates of the missing parts of my movement.
The movement is the 700 Remise A' Zero single pusher, in house adaptation, flyback chronograph version of the calibre 710. I have the movement sans the chronograph mechanism. It is the same as found in the CentreGraphe from the same time period. Any leads or information to the above proposition or purchase of any parts or any movement or complete watch ZeroGraphe or CentreGraphe are most appreciated. The watch is of course 100% legit. The bezel was made just like that in 1937. The movement is 100% in house Rolex. There are no ebauche made outside of Rolex that are similar. |

Nice! Someone should have told the photographer what time to set the watch to get the best picture.

I never knew this existed ....
For timing events of more than 1 minute, the user would depress the pusher right at the start. Then swiftly rotate the bezel until the zero hash aligned exactly with the minutes hand. This way timers of events had a runnin total of elapsed minutes and seconds for the event, or split times, even if the minutes hand was betwixt marks in the chapter ring.
Very busy work with pencil and paper. But for medical use, like taking heart rates, much easier. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
