Right price 1970's Rolex day date presidential

Looking at 1970's 18k Rolex day date presidential with generic brown leather strap... Wondering what fair price should be? Silver dial, stick markers. Any help would be appreciated !

Depending on 180x or 180xx, they can be found for $5-6.5k, depending on condition, service history. Check the for sale section here, items listed here are usually in range to be considered reasonable.

I have been looking for a 1803 for a few weeks now. Looking for head only to wear on straps. I have seen some good examples in the 5K range for head only and 8.5K with bracelet. Plus or minus a few hundred depending on condition. Found a super minty 18038 head on a nice Rolex gator strap with 18K buckle last week at 5.3K but it sold in minutes and I was late with my email.

What are the different 5 digit day date references? I have been interested in acquiring one at some point but was sort of leaning towards rose gold, I'm unclear on whether or not there was a rose gold 5 digit period day date reference however and if so what the reference was.

This 1803 was around 5 k from HQ Milton a couple of years ago. Possibly a little more now, but still in that price range.
