Looking for expert Rolex bracelet knowledge!!
When I compare my G series 16570 bracelet to the bracelets on my 16610 and 14060, I notice that the bracelets on both subs are way lighter. Both subs have non-SELs, while the the explorer has the SELs, but I'm referencing the actual center links, not the end links.
Does anyone know whether the bracelet center links are known to be different, because on mine they are substantially different. The explorer II bracelet, at least on the g series, is heavier and more solid. For the subs, the bracelets are lighter and feel hollow, and if the explorer's are hollow then the subs are even more hollow. Also, if there is a quantifiable difference, does anyone know what other models have the same type of bracelet quality as the later 16570's? Perhaps the later 16710's? Or is it all Rolex bracelets with SELs? Not knowing the answer has been bugging me and I'm hoping someone out there can share some deep Rolex knowledge :) |
