Anyone own a BLNR and 116613LB? Thoughts please!
Hey Fellas! I've been thinking of trying out a 116613LB, but I'd have to get rid of my BLNR. I sold my BLNR once before but recently just scooped another one...I know lol.
I wouldn't be asking for help, but I can't seem to find one to try on. Has anyone made this switch, or own both? Is the Blue too much? I wear a gold wedding ring so I thought it would be nice to have a touch of gold in my collection. I've had a solid gold speedmaster at one point but it was too much gold for me. As of now I own an AP 15300, BLNR, and a few vintage pieces (seikos, vintage divers, chronos etc). I am also going to get the new Daytona soon, but I'm pretty high on the waiting list so I have a few months. Thanks in advance! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hope it wont turn out to be a few years if you are pretty high on the waiting list.

I use to own both at the same time and I liked the Two tone better.

I have both. 2 different looks really. Both beautiful and wear the same on wrist.
It's a tough call honestly, but the sub stands out more because well gold is gold. Sorry I don't think I helped |

I flipped a Bluesy C for a Blnr which is a keeper for me. Anything blue is always good!

I had a TT Bluesy and flipped it for a BLNR. The sub was just too flashy for me. I've never looked back.

Mark, as your friend, do not flip the BLNR. I am not ready to buy it from you yet!! LOL
I prefer the GMT, but I wouldn't turn down a Bluesy. That bezel is beautiful. |

I just tried on Rolex addict's LB last night, and it's weighing pretty heavy on my mind. One of his buddies is selling a BLNR, and I was convinced that I wanted that!
Still haven't made up my mind. |

I have both and flipped the blnr and keeping the bluesy. Wears quite similar but bluesy is slightly heftier.
Bluesy is more iconic imo though the blnr has a younger appeal. Had ever thought of getting the blnr again but the lack of glidelock and PCL deters me from that. |

I owned both for about a year and felt they made a great pair. Sold the TT LB for a YG LB.

I have both. For me, the Bluesy is more stunning but the BLNR is more versatile. If I had to choose one, I'd choose the BLNR but it's worth keeping both, especially if you love the color Blue which I do.

I would not sell the BLNR. I have both and think they go great together.

I have the BLNR now and have been lusting after the Bluesy but don't think
I could ever give up the BLNR. I'm afraid they're too similar and can't seem to pull the trigger on the Bluesy. |

Yeah they work. One is a GMT the other is a diver.

Thank you everyone for your input! So, I finally found one to try on today! Unfortunately it was so beat up and polished, but I got to see one. I will say I was blown away. I thought it would have a lot of similarities, but it felt completely different then my BLNR. Now the question is do I wanna let go of my BLNR... And the answer is I'm going to go for it! Who knows maybe after a few weeks I'll decide I made a mistake, but it's a road I wanna take. It's not like I'll have trouble finding one anyways..
Thanks again fellas! Cheers! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have both.
If you buy the 116613LB - and if (underpin if) really like it - my take is that the BLNR renders a bit boring from that point in time and forward. I love the BLNR, but the after getting the 116613LB - all the SS-models are a bit boring now. And I was sceptic at first buying the 116613LB. |
