Sub Bezel

My recent purchase of a non date Sub W serial # has a very stubborn bezel when turning..Any ideas on how to make it turn with a little less force..

There's a click spring at 12 o'clock that can be bent back.(towards the watch)

But have a Rolex service centre adjust it for you, it can be easily lost and can snap in half just as easy. They may put a new one on.

Trust me I've lost 1 and snapped another in half

Here is a great link compilments of Jocke that gives you an idea of what your dealing with. http://www.vikbobil.se/bezel.html

I have heard that there is a mini RSC in Chicago? You could bring it there, or maybe someone can refer you to a local watchmaker. Good luck,

Another tip, if you do send it to an RSC, do not change out the dial, hands & insert if they are still the original tritium.

My Sea Dweller is a little hard to turn. I usually apply a very small amount of downward force when I rotate mine and it turns much easier.
