Submariner. Need help

Im in the process of buying a pre-loved submariner 16610 date....but the pictures show only the word "swiss" under the 6 o'clock marker...Ive never seen this before....is this authentic??? would appreciate the help guys!

yeas some models say- "swiss made" ,others, "swiss< 25" ,some just say, "swiss" it depends how old the watch is. it does exist. but thats about all i know- i cannot remember the exact dates of use for each

Swiss was used during the transition from Tritium to Luminova in 1998/99.

There were also some service replacement dials that only had Swiss at the bottom..

Depending on the year it could be original or a service replacement

Pics of the watch would be a help, also what it the serial letter, should be A or P if it is not a service dial.

Here is a pic of my Exp II with the same "Swiss" markings.

Its the real deal....just didnt do my homework...I DID learn something new;however,....NEVER doubt the members on TRF!!!!!!!!! my apologies, Patrick.

HAHAHAHAAAAAA.....that made my morning...thanks fellas...I cant wait to add this classic watch to my collection!!!!!! will be posting TONS of pics as soon as I pick her up!!!!!!! I have a feeling this one is never going to leave my wrist...perhaps my LV may be in line for some down time....
