7836 bracelet with 'A' Clasp?
Hi guys,
Apologies if this has been answered here before, but I can't seem to find a definitive answer. Can 7836 bracelets have been originally fitted with 'A'-stamped clasps? This would date the bracelets to 1976, but (according to most) the 78360 bracelet took over in 1975. Is it reasonable to think that both the 7836 and 78360 bracelets were options in 1976? I know that nothing with Rolex is set in stone, but I was wondering what some of the experts here thought. Thanks in advance for your help! |

There was definitely an overlap in production between the two bracelets. You'll see very few 76,77,78 78360s, at least based on my experience and ownership of many sports models.
