Bracelet Repair Parts

I have a 1969 7205 bracelet which is missing a clasp rivet. Where can I get a replacement or can I just use solid stainless rod? If so, does anyone know what hardness of stainless and what diameter?

I might be able to help but would need a couple photos depicting the problem which would help me ascertain what you need.

DIY using a solid rod would mean a good deal of hammering and likely bend it. But there is another way...

Some certified watchmakers have the tools and skills to do the work. Near you is Vanessa, and there are others like Rikki in Florida

But if you want to try, there are 3 part pins you could use. If the missing rivet pin is replaced with this type of 3 part pin, it will it affect the value of the clasp/bracelet.

Here's a resource for you...
