The same day I tried on the Air King I also sampled the new DJ41. For not downsizing the actual 41mm case size Rolex sure have made this watch seem a lot more comfortable than the DJII. I love a lot of the dials available on the DJII but the watch seemed to wear a bit big on my wrist. The new 41 is gorgeous and to me the Oysterclasp isn't a huge deal. Can't wait to see what dials they eventually come out with for it.

Anyone else tried it yet? Any DJII owners migrating to this?

Beautiful watch, for sure.

Is it my imagination or are the stick markers thinner on the new DJ41? I am attaching a pic of my DJ2 for comparison/reference.

Yeah, I recall reading somewhere that Rolex did reduce the width of the markers on the new DJ41. Looks good.

Yes lugs are thinner, as well as the lugs and the bezel. Bracelet integrates more elegantly in the case. Much improved IMO. Tried it on it is fantastic.

Very nice! I never considered purchasing a Datejust, but I really like the proportions.

Used to own a DJ II, but found it to be too big for my tastes after a few years of ownership. I must say that the DJ 41 is much more refined. Still a large watch, but a little more sleek. The DJ II is still a beauty, but I prefer the looks of the DJ 41.

Much better proportioned IMO. It does seem that Rolex listens and makes U-turns.

I tried one on recently as well and was really impressed by how much better proportioned the flutted bezel was compared to the DJII.

Yes tried one last week hadn't really considered the DJ only because I'm more into the sports models. However the DJ is such a legend I thought might do it try though still paying off my explorer 2 from 2014! I only like the stainless steel so I'll wait until they bring it out. I'm not a gold or a jubilee fan however the jubillee was extremely comfortable top be honest I was impressed! The date just 2 was very nice I wouldn't knock it back but the new 41 just seemed a bit more sleek which is unusual me I usually prefer chunky but both beautiful watches.

I actually was able to try one on yesterday. Really a wonderful piece. The size and configuration of everything really was impressive. I had a DJ II once but returned it to the AD as I loved the look but just could not seem to bond with it.
