When did you get it and where? I have been waiting for mine for a while now and there doesn't seem to be a delivery time anytime soon!!!! great looking watch!!!!! Matt the 292 is the Hardest one to get right now! Panerai can only make about 80 of those ceramic cases a year and they are supossedly making a 1000 per series. That particular watch with the torpedo is the first series ("J"), and the second will not have it so makes it all the more desireable becasue even that it will be a regular production watch by puting that torpedo on the first series they automatically made it a 1000 limited edition piece. The list price is $7,800 USD but they are selling for abouth $16k or more on the grey market, and that is if you can locate one!!!

Sad to say the watch is perfect the brown strap does nothing for it.

292 prouction 20pc/month
I heard Panerai was having production problem, and they were only making 20pc/month. That is the reason why we haven't seen many of the 292 in the market.
If they could made 80pc/month, that is the full 1000pc per year projected, then we all won't be waiting for ours. Now that we started seeing 26K arriving to boutique, there is still no sign of 292. I trurly don't think they are making 80pc/month HKperf: You had your chance, I offered you one, but you hestitated. You should have gotten that one, it is beautiful, I think it is the most collectible modern Panerai at reasonable price (don't count the 127/203/21) |
