Panerai Service

I bought a new Panerai 104 in early May and it has run consistently slow (-20 seconds a day) for the 3 months I have owned it. I finally brought it back to the AD so they could return it for service, which I'm told will be at least two months. I also about 3 weeks ago wound up accidentally hitting the polished chrome on a door hinge which left some scratches/minor gouges. I requested that it be polished to a like-new finish, but does anyone know if Panerai does that? The AD put the request on the work order. Also, is two months a realistic timeframe to complete the service.
Thanks for any responses.
Brian

When I got my very first PAM,the 104 it ran -40s /day !!!! Bought new from an AD.Tested it the first two days and it was constant -40s/day.Phoned the AD.They travelled 100km to fetch the watch from my home. They sent it to Vendome in Johannesburg.Had it checked by their swiss trained chief watchman.Received it back, three days later. Now,its VERY accurate.

Great service from the AD and Vendome RSC in Johannesburg

Since I'm in the US, I hope the service is as good as you have experienced.

That is a good suggestion. Unfortunately, it is with the AD out of state.

Dear Freind,
Yes it will take Panerai 2 months to service your tima piece,Pam 104 whick automatic caliber slowing 20 second s a day is not normal,we can exapt 3minutes a month on automatic movements but 20 seconds a day bit to much
You should contact a Panerai dealer near you..Price of retail will go up on PANERAI effective on September 2
Best Regards
