Dealer question

I have been in the market for a new Sea Dweller, I have checked my local AD, and also have had contact with some of the trusted sellers on this forum. A friend of mine mentioned to me that I should check Authentic Watches.Com, they sell brand new watches at discounted prices with full six year warranties. What I wanted to know is if anyone has had a dealing with this company, and was it good or bad.

Thanks in advance.

Never heard of this site. I would be worry of a site called authenticwatche's. I would go with DavidSW if he has what you want.

They are legit. Similar to Jomashop.

Personally, I'd rather go to a trusted seller. If authentic watches is anything like jomashop, you will NOT get a factory warranty. If you buy through a trusted seller, as long as the watch is still within the warranty period you will be able to use that warranty. Maybe not likely that you will need it, but it's enough to keep me away from the GRAY side. (which to me is a difference compared to trusted sellers)

Doesn't the rolex warranty card have to be registered at time of purchase by an AD? unless the trusted trf seller is an AD, how can you get a warranty?

For what it's worth: I bought a new Rolex from DavidSW in 2014 at a price better than or equal to gray market. I had an issue with the timing after the two-year warranty expired, but (thankfully) after Rolex announced their new five-year warranty and added one year of warranty coverage to watches purchased between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2015. I brought the watch to an AD with the warranty card, which was clearly filled out by two different people with two different pens, and Rolex performed an official warranty repair without charge or question. (The AD charged me $100 to handle shipping and insurance both ways.)

And similar in that the Rolex they sell comes with their own warranty and not the Rolex factory warranty. And BTW, the Authenticwatch warranty is not a full warranty, it is a limited warranty. The Rolex factory warranty is a full warranty. I'd go trusted seller here and get the factory warranty and card.
