Bob Maron $950,000 Daytona RCO Dial on ebay vs. Fake RCO Daytona Dial by tonnywatches

Can you see the differences in the dials?
BTW - Is this watch worth $950k or is it a billboard to attract people to his lower priced offerings?

Here is the tonnywatches RCO Daytona dial for comparison. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53...mtid=824&kw=lg

I don't believe I have heard much talk about fake vintage Daytonas, but they seem to be selling fake Daytona dials.

I am not supporting either seller or their watches / dials, but one must compare like with like.

These two dials are not the same.

I hope I wasn't misunderstood. There are clear differences. I was pointing out a million dollar version versus a version designed to deceive by tonnywatches. At first glance and at regular size, not blown up, that dial could deceive somebody. These fake dial makers need to be stopped.

The tony dial looks like it was finished by a 4 year old.
I can't see how it could be mistaken as real by anyone.

I think if you don't have access to macros, closeups, and magnification equipment, people with average or worse vision could not tell the difference.

Look down at your watch. These details are very, very small. Personally, without magnification or glasses, I can't focus well enough to read "Swiss Made" at the 6:00 position.
