Everything! I haven't used a ballpoint for years.
I have a cheap FP I use for work. In addition to that, I'm using a FP my dad gave me for my 16th birthday to keep a journal about becoming a father for the first time to pass on to sprog when he's older or to grandkids. Beyond that I use the others all the time for any writing that's required. I love giving people books as presents so one of my favourite uses for a FP is writing something in the inside cover to personalise the book to the recipient. |

Everyday writing, journaling, cards and letters, and all the normal stuff like digging ear wax (fountain pens are especially useful) and cleaning fingernails.
They are really a multi-purpose tool you see! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I use 2 FP's at work 99% of time and at home 98% of time. Of my two work pens one is used for general use and the other is extra fine Japense nib used to edit documents etc.

Really got into using a fountain pen at work with sepia MB ink. ( We make country furniture and sell antiques, so it looks great ). So much so, I have just bought a Yard-O-Led fountain pen to use at home. Not looking back now.
We are still learning until the day we die. Let's spread the knowledge. |

Interesting responses. I've got a few nice pens and simply found myself not using them. Do now though!
