YG Sub

Hey guys. I've asked this same question already on here. I'm extremely indecisive. I have a hard time deciding what to eat for lunch today. lol.
I love the YG Sub 116618 Blue. When I went to try it on the TT yachtmaster II
Jumped out of the case. I'm still leaning towards the Sub but have a few questions. I feel like the Yacht II is more versatile in terms of cloths. I love love love the blue face but not sure if would go with everything. Normally I wear jeans and t-shirts. Occasionally football, basketball snd baseball jerseys. I feel like the blue would clash with a lot of colors. Not to sound brash but I do like the bling factor of the YG Sub. Again Not sure if it goes with my attire. I have until next week to finalize. Thanks.

I prefer the 116618 as many on here will surely echo. Unless you have a lot of watches you can't expect to match every outfit.

Also be aware that one in particular looks to have the older flat blue dial and not the sunburst one.

It does look flat, is that the old model? Prefer sub tho. Sunburst if you can.

Good lord, man. We can't tell you what to wear...we've already told you what we like, now it's time for you to decide.

Now if you're going to let the color of your shirts decide this, that's kind of like the tail wagging the dog, my friend.

I would have generally went with the YG SubC. Looking at both of your pictures, IMHO the YM is the better fit. For some reason the Sub looks small on your wrist. But hey, it's solid gold.

This is going to be a tuff one. Good Luck

Dude-
116618 in a heartbeat IMO. Looks great, will be fine in a casual setting, and seems like you want some gold/bling since the other options are two tone. I say you go for the gold!

i prefer the sub overall and of course there is a decent price difference, but simply based on looks, I think the TT YM2 fits you better!

I tend to agree with you. That YG Sub looks small on you....how about the YG YMII?

Out of the two you picked the YG Sub will match more clothes than the TT YM.

I'm not a big fan of the YM2 I prefer the standard YM. And I LOVE the Sub in any variation.

Subc but make sure it is the sunburst dial. A fairer comparison is with the YG YM2 and both have lots of blue so it makes no difference, and matching watches and clothes is a little too frou frou for me, keep them separate.

Personally like the YG SubC more than the TT YM II. And its suppose to clash with your outfits. Its an old gold sports watch. You want people to notice.

Wow that YM 2 looks awesome on you. The safer bet is the gold Sub, sunburst as everyone stated, but I saw the YM 2 two tone in person on someone 2 days ago and wow it looks awesome in person.

Buy what moves you most. Don't listen to us or your wardrobe, it's a lot of money so go with your heart on this one

I believe the first 2-3 years of the 116618 had a flat blue dial before it switched to the sunburst. Believe it's identical in any other way.

A lot of the ones for sale on watch recon are flat blue dials.

Yellow Gold Sub with either dial.
However I personally prefer my slightly older one with Gold Dial, diamond markers and date of course.
Would love one with DAY/DATE

I finally did it. I know most people say that they like the sunburst better. But wheni went to my AD and tried both on today I fell in love with the flat blue. I like the sunburst also a lot but I couldn't keep my eyes off the flat blue. They were exactly the same price so that want an issue. So I'm the proud owner of a YG "flat" blue Submariner!! Thanks for all your help.

I own both and love them equal. I like the ym for the complication but the sub is a better daily wearer if you were to have only one. I would definitely get the ceramic sub if you go that route, for the bracelet alone. I worry about stretch in the older gold models.

That is Beautiful! I think the Flat blue, like he Smurf, is an awesome color, and it blends nicely with the Bezel. There'e even a you-tube celebrity, "Watch you style," that says he likes the flat blue more than the sunburst...

You need to start a flat blue dial club...

I have a black YG sub. Matches everything.

I also tried on the blue YG sub. It's a beautiful watch, and when I can afford it, I'm getting that one too. TT YM is nice, but falls behind in comparison..
