Incoming! Explorer 2 216570 (inc. macro images)

I'm delighted with my new watch, which is actually the second 216570 I've owned (seller's remorse!). For me it fits well in my collection as a summer/holiday watch, especially on a NATO with a bit of colour. It's super comfortable and fits my flat-ish 7.25 inch wrist well I think.

Apologies for the picture overload! Although the image quality of the macros isn't great (they were taken with an iPhone with macro lens attachment), I thought they were interesting as they show some of the tiny details (and imperfections!) not really visible with the naked eye.

Cool photos. It's neat to see what the chrono lume looks like up close. Impressive!

Thanks guys. The macros were taken with an iPhone 6s Plus, with an Olloclip 3 in 1 macro add on lens. The closest ones are 21x magnification.

I'm on the lookout for one of these beautiful watches too

Good on you for going back... I totally get the sellers remorse thing but I tell myself it's not so one dimensional as that. It's more to do with need/ want / must being a dynamic thing that changes over time when changes occur in my life

Congrats on the ExpII, it's such a great watch!

Man, those shots are amazing! The luminova (sorry, Chromalight) looks like snow at that magnification.
